Anti-Corrosion Coatings
All Jacomex glove boxes are made from AISI 304L (1-4306 NF-EN-10088-3) or AISI 316L (1-4404 NF-EN-10088-3) austenitic stainless steel offering excellent resistance qualities and suitable for most uses.
For cases where this is not sufficient, a specific surface coating increases resistance to corrosion, abrasion or radiation. In some processes, the use of concentrated chemicals or acids at already high temperatures can weaken the materials. A surface coating is a solution that allows you to undertake all kinds of experiments in complete safety.
