VPR63 Regulating Valve for Glove Box
For hazardous atmospheres, control valves (designed and manufactured by Jacomex) provide reliable, efficient and long-lasting protection for operators and the environment. They were initially developed to ensure the safety of installations in a nuclear environment and have since been used for other applications where the protection of operators is a priority.
These models are designed to operate exclusively in negative pressure glove boxes. In addition, they reduce internal air turbulence and the flow indicator indicates the level of clogging of the HEPA filters.
Applications
Technical Specifications
Technical specifications of the regulating valve:
Material: Polymer
|
Connected in series on the main extraction circuit of the glove box
|
Mechanical operation, with membrane, without electrical connection
|
Ultra-fast response time due to direct reference to cabinet pressure
|
Connections: fluted end Ø63 mm (flange on request)
|
Dry contacts for triggering alarms (pressure fault)
|
Nominal flow 10m3/h (5-15m3/h)
|
Security flow 50m3/h
|
Minimum required pressure of the extraction network: -1200 Pa
|
Main functions
- Automatic regulation of the (de)pressure of the glove box.
- Instant readjustment of the (de)pressure during movement/handling (gloves) and for any other pressure variation caused by an internal process.
- Automatic compensation for progressive clogging of HEPA filters.
- Safety flow (speed 0.5-1 m/s) in the event of an accidental breach of containment.
Compatibility
This equipment can be installed on the following glove box models
