Research in the field of laser-matter interaction at the Institut Fresnel (Aix-Marseille University). The purified glove box is used to conduct research on the development of experiments based on laser and optical techniques to determine the thermophysical properties of molten salts as part of R&D on molten salt nuclear reactors (in collaboration with the CEA). In practice, this involves measuring the melting point, viscosity, surface tension, and thermal conductivity as a function of the salt composition within a temperature range of 600 to 800°C.
