This particular chamber is none other than a heated chamber.
Depending on its diameter, its temperature can rise from 150 to 250 degrees Celsius!
These chambers are specifically used to remove moisture from the samples handled, before they can be transferred to the inert environment of the glovebox.
Based on the classic vacuum chamber model, this particular chamber therefore enables the material or sample handled within the glovebox to be heated, vacuumed and purged of gas.
