Here, we can see a glove box from our Pure range, specifically a PureMod, designed for one of our clients in the molten salts field. This unit complements two other Jacomex glove boxes, GPConcept models, in the same lab.
A furnace is attached to the left side panel using a flange, allowing samples to be melted. However, these samples cannot tolerate moisture.
Indeed, if one of these samples were to come into contact with H2O, a violent and highly harmful reaction would occur, making the situation dangerous for the operator.
This is why the use of a glove box is crucial in the molten salts sector. This PureMod also includes integrated ceiling air conditioning and special filters with activated carbon.
