Description

Parallelepipedic vacuum locks can be rectangular or cubic. They are made only to measure in order to best satisfy the constraints and specifications of the customer.

They are in service for projects where the cylindrical design is not very compatible with the materials or products which are to be transferred, generally more in heavy industry or the nuclear sector. Parallelepipedic vacuum locks are mainly used in installations under controlled atmosphere (nitrogen, argon, helium) and purified glove boxes. Their operation is based on alternatively vacuuming (thanks to a vacuum pump) and filling the chamber with gas in order to evacuate the air from the airlock.

The user has the choice of carrying out a variable number of successive empty/fill cycles in manual or programmable automatic mode to best eliminate all traces of atmospheric pollutants.
