In April 2023, the chinese delegation donated to the French scientific community, lunar samples from the Chinese Chang’e 5 space mission, launched in December 2020 to explore the Moon.
Today, these samples are at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, stored in a piece of equipment well known to us, a purified glove box made in Jacomex. Indeed, it is within the enclosure of a PureSmart that these precious samples rest, to be handled in a neutral atmosphere, without water or oxygen, so as to be preserved from any external contamination.
China Central Television (CCTV) made the trip to the Museum, to film the beginning of this extraterrestrial odyssey.
